Product Specifications

Description

The Tama HT430B Round Rider is a drum throne from Tama's 1st Chair series, built around a 14" round PVC seat and a stability-focused tripod base. It steps up from Tama's entry-level thrones with a larger seat, reinforced base mechanics, and oversized rubber feet.

The Round Rider's seat uses a gently rounded cushion shape with low-profile PVC seams, so your legs move freely whether you're working the hi-hat, sliding on a double pedal, or shifting between toms. A dimple on the underside of the cushion gives soft but solid support for longer sessions.

The base is where most of the engineering sits. The Seat Link casting grips the full circumference of the upper rod with a nylon bushing, eliminating play between seat and post. The Rocklok bushing at the base of the threaded rod stops side-to-side wobble.

Foot Life plastic leg ends extend the life of the oversized rubber feet, which sit 1.5 times larger than Tama's earlier design for better grip. 

The 1st Chair height adjustment combines a threaded rod with a T-bolt lock for fast, repeatable seat height.

A solid choice for drummers who play long sessions and want a stable, predictable throne for both home practice and gigs.
