The Roland CY-12C-T is a 12-inch V-Cymbal crash pad with a thin profile and two trigger zones, bow and edge. It works with all Roland V-Drums modules and suits use as an extra crash or splash in an expanded kit.
Roland made the CY-12C-T significantly thinner than earlier V-Cymbal generations. That gives a more even response, better stick feel and a natural swinging motion, which makes cymbal swells and ride patterns easier to play. The bow and edge sensors produce independent sounds, and grabbing the edge chokes the cymbal like an acoustic crash. The textured surface keeps an acoustic look on stage.
A single stereo cable connects the BOW/EDGE output to your module, and the cymbal nut, felt washer and stopper for mounting are in the box. It measures 305 mm across, weighs 830 g and serves as crash 1 in the Roland VAD316 kit.
