The Tama TMT9 is a pocket-format multi-tool designed specifically for drummers — everything you actually need to set up, tune and pack down a kit in one piece of metal that hooks onto a stick bag or a keychain. It replaces the small pile of separate keys, hex wrenches and screwdrivers most drummers carry loose in their gig bag.
The nine tools built into the body cover the range of fasteners you'll meet on a modern kit: five hex wrenches (2.0, 2.5, 3.0, 4.0 and 5.0 mm) for pedal, hardware and clamp adjustments; a 7 mm hex-nut driver for tightening loose lug nuts; a Phillips screwdriver for snare strainers and stand fittings; and two drum keys — one offset for tension rods in awkward positions, and one that lets you use the whole tool as a T-key for extra torque during a head change. A built-in wing-nut loosener handles over-tightened T-bolts on stands.
