Base section tubing is 28.6 mm — noticeably thicker than the 25.4 mm of the Stage Master range — and double-braced legs give the stand a wider, more stable footprint under a heavy ride. The patented Quick-Set Tilter uses six friction disc plates instead of toothed gears, so cymbal angle adjusts infinitely rather than in fixed steps and holds tighter under repeated hits. The Quick-Set Cymbal Mate on top removes the wing nut fumble at setup and pack-down, and Tama's Glide-Tite Grip Joint gives you a solid, non-slip contact between telescoping tubes.
