Description

The Tama QC8 Quick-Set Cymbal Mate is a push-button replacement for the traditional wing nut on top of a cymbal stand. Instead of spinning a threaded wing nut on and off every time you set up or pack down, you pinch the two buttons on the side, slide it on or off, and the cymbal is secured.

It fits any cymbal stand with an M8 (8 mm) thread, which is the standard on Tama, Pearl, Yamaha, Mapex, Gibraltar, Sonor and most other major brands. Cymbal tension still adjusts the way you're used to — a small turn of the body loosens or tightens the wobble to taste — but the on/off action becomes seconds instead of minutes across a full kit.

A sensible pickup for gigging drummers, drum tutors setting up multiple kits a day, or anyone who's ever fumbled a wing nut into a dark stage carpet. This listing is for a single unit — Tama also sells the QC8 in a 4-pack (QC8-B4) if you want to swap out every stand at once.
