Description

The EFNOTE 5X is a five-piece electronic drum set from EFNOTE that pairs a birch shell acoustic-style kit with the brand's Tru-Aco sound engine for realistic stereo drum and cymbal samples. Every drum and cymbal uses EFNOTE's multi-sensor triggering for hotspot-free response, and the 3-zone snare (head, rim, side-rim) and 3-zone crash/ride cymbals capture nuanced playing across the full range of dynamics.

The compact EFD-5X sound module runs 17 factory kits and 83 user kit slots, built from 98 multi-layer stereo samples plus a library of 128 user instrument presets. A touchscreen interface, built-in metronome, 15-track recorder and Stroke Analyzer make it suited to daily practice, while 8-channel USB audio out, 4-channel analogue out, MIDI I/O and Bluetooth audio/MIDI cover recording and live use.

The kit ships with a 16 x 12" kick, 12 x 5" snare, 10 x 7" rack tom, 12 x 12" and 13 x 13" floor toms, 14" hi-hats, two 16" crashes, an 18" ride and an 8" splash, all with birch shells in EFNOTE's black oak-ish finish.
