Product Specifications

Description

The Drum-tec Diabolo 13″ Floor Tom (hand hammered) is a 13″ × 12″ electronic floor tom pad, handmade in Germany by Drum-tec, with a polished hand-hammered shell that looks every bit like an acoustic drum. This pre-owned example is in very good condition: it has been played, but still looks clean and tidy.

The pad is dual-zone, with separate head and rim triggering, so you can assign a tom sound to the head and a rimshot, cowbell or clap to the rim. A 2-ply Drum-tec design mesh head gives natural rebound at low volume, which suits home practice. It stands on its own height-adjustable legs, so you can add it to your kit without an extra stand or rack clamp.

Will it work with your module? Yes, it is compatible with most e-drum modules on the market. Including, Roland, EFNOTE, Gewa, 2Box, Alesis and many others.

This is the original Diabolo version with a single centre head trigger, not the current Diabolo 3 with three head sensors. That makes it a good-value way to add a floor tom to a Diabolo, EFNote or Roland-based setup. A trigger cable is not included.
