The Zildjian 14" L80 Low Volume HiHats are a pair of low-volume drum cymbals built to sound up to 80% quieter than a traditional 14" hi-hat pair. Zildjian achieves this with a perforated alloy surface, hundreds of small holes running from bell to edge, combined with a matte finish that cuts high frequencies without deadening the cymbal.
Because the perforation reduces sound rather than mass, the hi-hats keep the weight, response and stick feel of a standard Zildjian pair.
