The Tama HC03BW is the entry-level boom cymbal stand in Tama's double-braced range. It's a practical choice for smaller kits, practice setups, or as an extra stand to add a splash or effect cymbal to an existing kit.
The stand uses a traditional fine gear tilter for stepped angle adjustment and a 300 mm boom arm. It's also boom/straight convertible — the boom arm tucks into the upper tube when you want a plain straight stand.
The double-braced tripod and 22.2 mm base tubing give enough stability for crash, splash, china and lighter ride cymbals.
Nylon bushing joints make height changes smooth. The reversible cymbal bottom lets you flip the nylon sleeve once it wears, extending the stand's usable life.
At 2.5 kg, this is one of the lighter double-braced stands in Tama's line. That helps if you carry your own hardware to rehearsals and gigs, or if you need several extra stands without loading up the hardware bag.
